Terms of use

Last updated October 8, 2026 · Version 2026-10-08.2

These terms cover the Firm Blueprint at design.lawfirmarchitects.com, provided by Law Firm Architects (“LFA”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are signing up for your firm, you are agreeing on your firm’s behalf.

1. Who can use it

The Firm Blueprint is for law firms. You may sign up only if you are a law firm owner or a member of a law firm’s team, and you are signing up for your own firm.

Using this service as a third-party consultant is against these terms. That includes consultants, agencies, coaches and vendors using it to map, design or advise on another firm. Accounts found in violation will be deactivated.

2. Your account and your team

  • You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep that inbox secure: anyone who can open it can open your firm’s map.
  • The person who creates the firm is its owner. Owners decide who else is invited and can remove people at any time.
  • A free account covers the owner plus three colleagues. Everyone you invite must work at your firm, and these terms apply to them too.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your firm’s account.

3. Inactive free accounts

Free accounts with no activity for 30 days are deactivated. Activity means anyone at your firm signing in or changing the map.
  • We email your firm’s owner 7 days before we deactivate. Signing in before then keeps the account active.
  • Your map is yours, so you can download it at any time from the Export menu on the map, as a PDF or a file.
  • Once deactivated, nobody at the firm can sign in.
  • We keep the map for another 30 days. In that time you can get it back two ways: email us at blueprint@lawfirmarchitects.com to restore it or to get a copy, or buy the team license, which restores your account and unlocks all features.
  • After that, the account and its map are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
  • Firms with a paid team license are not deactivated for inactivity.

4. The team license

  • The team license costs $555 per firm. It unlocks every feature of the Firm Blueprint for your whole team, including the Law Firm Reset Master Class video lessons.
  • You pay through our secure checkout. The LFA team unlocks all features within one business day of payment and emails you instructions.
  • Refunds: you can get a full refund until someone at your firm signs in to the licensed features or opens a recording. To ask for one, email blueprint@lawfirmarchitects.com.

5. Your map and your information

  • Your firm’s map belongs to your firm. No other firm can see it. The LFA team can see it only to support you and run the service.
  • We use what you put in the service to run it and support you. We do not sell it, and we do not use your map to train AI models.
  • We may learn from patterns across many firms’ maps to improve our templates and guidance, always in a form that never identifies your firm.
  • Some features, such as voice notes, send what you record to an AI provider to transcribe and summarize it. That provider does not use it to train its models.
  • Do not enter client confidential or privileged information. The map describes how your firm works, not your clients’ matters. Use roles and steps, not client names or case details.
  • Our templates, lessons, activities and other materials remain ours. You may use them inside your own firm.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • share access with anyone outside your firm, or resell or sublicense the service;
  • copy, scrape or republish our templates, lessons or materials outside your firm;
  • use the service to build a competing product;
  • interfere with the service, test its security without our written permission, or get around its limits;
  • use it for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or deactivate an account that breaks these rules.

7. The service itself

  • The Firm Blueprint offers operational design guidance. It is not legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship.
  • We work to keep the service available and your map safe, but it is provided as is. We may change, add or remove features over time.
  • To the extent the law allows, LFA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

8. Ending your account

  • You can stop using the service at any time. Email us if you want your firm’s account and map deleted.
  • We can deactivate accounts that break these terms, as described above.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date and version at the top of this page will change, and if the change matters we will tell you before it applies. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the update.
